Outside In

The interior of a warm and whimsical mock-Tudor is infused with corresponding flavour via some key architectural alterations and an artistic blending of old world references. Original and appropriate details like the brick-clad barrel vaulted entry, and towering rough stone fireplace provided the genesis of the design. An antique envelope was created through a variety of rustic materials including ironwork, hand scraped hardwood, limestone and Elizabethan inspired patina-ed cabinetry. The unexpected mix of old and new furnishings layered with opulent fabrics and accessories reflect the owners’ eclectic sensibilities and European heritage.
